Wade | Elizabeth Summers | 1851 | 1935 | Wife of Daniel Wade Top of stone shared with Daniel Front of stone shared with Daniel Per g-granddaughter Cerelle B.: I am descended from SAMUEL Wade, Daniel's elder brother, who married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ruth Ann Summers on Oct 21, 1868. They had two children, Henry Clayton and my grandmother, Eunice Elizabeth Wade. Sadly, he died, the family story says in a mining accident, when he was only 26 in 1873. In 1879, Lizzie married a second time, to Sam's brother, Daniel William "Dan" Wade. They had four more children. In fact, she married a third time after Dan's death, in about 1915 to Alexander Green, also widowed. She is buried with Dan, to whom she was married the longest, and most likely by her children by him. (Alex is buried with his first wife elsewhere) |
