Martin-Sterne
Cemetery
This family
burial plot is located 3 miles north of Annada
on a farm now owned by Cooey Hofen. The inscriptions
you see here were recorded by Irma and James R. Martin, Sr.
during a visit on May 17, 1987. James is a great-grandson
of Robert T. Martin, whose grave is located here.
Thank you to Dennis Goodman for this correction: The Sterne-Smith-Martin cemetery is not 3 miles north of Annada, MO. it is located on my Grandfather's farm.....Bill and Mollie Price scouted it and wrote down the stone information on Sept. 2, 1984 and provided me a copy and the farm is the Old Goodman farm, now owned by Alfred Hofen Buffalo Township 53N-R-1-2-W. I have played in the cemetery as a kid on my grandfather's farm....it is the first farm on the right after the Bob Page farm....turn at the old Stark's Apple Sheds and go south and it is the first farm on the right with a house (modern now). The farm was owned by Andrew Joseph Goodman and was where my father was raised Andrew Raymond Goodman. I am Raymond's son.....Dennis Ray Goodman. |
