He was the son of John Watkins and Jane (FOSSIE) BENNING. He married (1) Sarah JORDAN 05 Jun 1846 in Pike Co. MO by Rev J. F. Hedges, Baptist. Sarah JORDAN died 1847. He married (2) Louisa Marian HEADRICK 29 Dec 1849 in Louisiana, Mo. by Rev Thomas T. Johnson. Louisa Marian HEADRICK was born 21 Apr 1832 in Kingston, Tennessee and died 25 Aug 1918 in Leavenworth, KS, probably in her daughter's home. She was the daughter of John Blair and Mariah Brig (WORK) HEADRICK. |
