Press Journal, Bury Mrs. Julia Buchanan Today; Former Elian Final services for Mrs. Julia Buchanan of Rock Island, Ill., were held at 2 P.m. today, Tuesday, in the Eolia Methodist church with Rev. Norman Turnbough officiating. Mrs. Buchanan, an Eolia resident about 25 years ago, died Saturday in Rock Island. She was born in Pittsflield, Ill, on March 21, 1868. Survivors are one son, Jack of Rock Island; and a sister, Mrs. Amelia Burke of Moberly. Burial was in the Eolia cemetery. Pallbearers were Edwin Akers, Lem Griffith, Ewing Hunter, Emial Akers, Bryan Brown and Walter Jesen. Funeral arrangements were made by the Collier Funeral Service of Eolia.
