Obituary from The Bowling
Green Times Joe. C. Price. Bowling Green, Mo. Joe Cameron Price, 81, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in Pike County Hospital. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Kirks Chapel. The Rev. W. G. Mitchell will officiate with burial in Bowling Green Cemetery. Mr. Price was born Nov. 19, 1887 near Louisiana a son of John N, and Julia Barnett Price. His wife, the former Bertha Harrelson (sic), preceded him in death. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and farmed near Buffalo before moving to Bowling Green where he was a dairyman until retirement. Survivors include 3 sons, Harold C. of Columbia, Edwin H. of Arlington, Va. and Major Donald Price stationed with the Army in Vietnam; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Smith of Bowling Green and Mrs. Billie (Alma) Bibb of Louisiana. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Friends may call at the Kirks Funeral Home until time of services. |
