Source & Date Unknown: Lela I. Price. Services for Lela Irene Price, 90, longtime Middletown resident, were held at 2 p.m. April 16 at Middletown Christian Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Ken Kellogg officiated and burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Middletown. Mrs. Price died April 13, 1991, at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico. She had resided at Countryside Manor since August 1989. Born Oct. 16, 1890, near Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Milton and Mattie Jane Angel Woodson. She was married April 4, 1925, to William Milas Price in Bowling Green. He preceded her in death in 1966. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mollie L. Price, Vandalia; one sister-in-law, Wilma Woodson, Middletown; a stepgranddaughter; one niece and five nephews. Preceding her in death were a son, William J. (Billy Joe) Price; and two brothers, Lloyd and Willard Woodson. She and her husband are buried at Fairmount Cem., Middletown, MO. |
