Courier Post, Archie N. Ross Jr. BOWLING GREEN - Archie N. Ross Jr., 67, of Bowling Green, died Oct. 21, 1999, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kirks Funeral Chapel in Bowling Green. The Rev. Randal Cone will officiate. Graveside military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 370 at River View Cemetery in Louisiana. Mr. Ross was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Louisiana to Archie and Ruby Young Ross. He was married to Phoebe Walker. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Stacey Ann Olsen of Novato, Calif., and Sabrina Dee Compagno of Sonoma, Calif.; one son, Shaun Cabot Ross of Bowling Green; five grandchildren; three sisters, Patsy Rule Holliday of Monroe, La., Penny Hoke of Norman, Okla., and Peggy Smalley of Jacksonville, Fla.; and stepparents, Harry and Betty Fuhlman of Port Lavaca, Texas. Mr. Ross was retired. He had served in the U.S. Air Force. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. Memorials may be made to the Pike County Home Health and Hospice. Pallbearers will be Jerry Hickerson, Glen Hickerson, Gilbert Lawson, Justin Franke, Seth Murray and Andrew Moore.
